Full‑Day Outpatient Treatment

The Full‑Day Outpatient Treatment Program represents Pillars’ most structured and immersive outpatient level of care, ideal for clients who require daily therapeutic engagement but don’t need residential supervision. Clients typically attend treatment five days a week (Monday through Friday), combining master’s‑level clinical care, group and individual therapy, and peer support in a focused recovery schedule.

This high‑intensity outpatient setting supports recovery from mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, dissociative and personality disorders.

Half‑Day Outpatient Treatment

Our Half‑Day Outpatient Program offers a more flexible schedule—three to five days per week, starting at five and scaling down based on progress. This format is ideal for individuals balancing recovery with work, school, or family obligations. Participants receive the same quality of evidence‑based therapy with less daily contact time.

This outpatient care includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), case management, individual counseling, group sessions, and medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) when needed.

What We Treat: Comprehensive Treatment for Mental Health

Mental Health Treatment Services

Pillars specializes in treating a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses, tailoring care for each client’s unique needs.

Treatment integrates individual and group therapy, psychiatric medication management, and holistic support structures to foster emotional resilience and long‑term stability.

Core Therapy Modalities & Clinical Support

Evidence‑Based Therapies

Pillars delivers structured therapies backed by clinical research:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for changing problematic thought patterns
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation and interpersonal skills
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) to strengthen clients’ intrinsic motivation for change

Medication Management

For clients battling certain mental health diagnoses, Pillars provides medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) like buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone, alongside psychiatric medications as needed. Certified nurse practitioners oversee medication plans for safe, individualized care.

Case Management & Support Services

Case managers assist with discharge planning, ongoing resource referrals (e.g. sober living, peer support groups, employment services), and transitioning successfully into life post‑treatment. Family therapy, educational workshops, and relapse prevention planning are also offered to support holistic recovery.

Aftercare & Alumni Program: Continued Support for Lasting Recovery

Aftercare Services

Aftercare acts as a transition bridge from structured outpatient care to everyday independence. It includes:

  • Follow‑up therapy sessions
  • Peer support check‑ins
  • Ongoing access to clinical and community resources

These services help maintain positive recovery momentum and provide accountability during reintegration into daily life.

Alumni Program

Pillars’ Alumni Program fosters community and engagement post‑treatment. Graduates gain access to:

  • Peer events and reunion groups
  • Educational workshops
  • Ongoing encouragement from people who understand recovery journeys

Staying connected with alumni reinforces support networks and motivation long after formal therapy ends.

FAQ: Common Questions About Outpatient Treatment

What if I can’t commit to the schedule for the Half-Day or Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program?

If you’re concerned about being able to commit to the Half-Day or Full-Day schedules, no worries. Our counselors are here to help. Regardless of your schedule and commitments, we’re willing to work with you to design a treatment plan that will fulfill your needs and goals. We’ll cater it to your unique needs, giving you the flexibility to recover in a way that works for you.

What’s the difference between outpatient and inpatient treatment?

In outpatient treatment, clients can maintain their daily responsibilities while still getting the help and resources they need to recover. In inpatient treatment, individuals will live at a treatment center and receive constant care. At Pillars Health Group, we specialize in outpatient treatment, and we do not provide inpatient treatment.

How long does outpatient treatment typically last?

Outpatient treatment will typically last 8 to 12 weeks, but it can be longer or shorter depending on each individual’s unique treatment needs and progress.

What happens if I relapse during outpatient treatment?

Relapse is a common part of recovery, and not something to be ashamed about. If you relapse, our case managers will work with you to adjust your treatment plan as needed. It will likely be recommended that you receive a higher level of care.

Can I still attend work or school during outpatient treatment?

Yes, this is the core benefit of outpatient care. You can continue to handle your responsibilities and life, all while getting the help you need to tackle mental health challenges.

Is outpatient treatment confidential?

Yes, outpatient treatment at Pillars Health Group is completely confidential. HIPAA law dictates that treatment providers like us maintain your confidentiality.

Can my family be involved in my treatment plan?

Yes, your family can be involved in your treatment plan, and family support is highly encouraged. A strong support system can help develop a strong path to recovery.

How long does the Aftercare program last?

It will depend on the unique needs of each individual. However, clients will typically attend Aftercare sessions for a month after finishing their outpatient treatment program. From there, they can join the Alumni Program and remain involved in the recovery community.

Will my insurance cover outpatient treatment?

Most health insurance plans will cover outpatient treatment in some capacity. If you’re unsure that your insurance will cover outpatient treatment, then fill out this simple form, and we’ll check for you. There’s no charge to get your insurance verified—we want to make the process stress-free and simple.

Who can attend the Pillars Health Group Alumni Program?

Anyone who has successfully completed an outpatient treatment program at a Pillars Health Group location is eligible to join our Alumni Program.
