Our Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program, commonly known as a partial hospitalization program (PHP), is the most comprehensive outpatient program we offer. It combines evidence-based therapies, individual counseling, and recovery-focused activities led by master’s-level clinicians, all within a supportive peer environment. The Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program is designed for those whose challenges require the highest level of care we provide in a structured, all-day program.

In addition to the group sessions in the daily schedule, clients can expect to have one daily individual session per week. They’ll also have access to a psychiatric nurse practitioner for any potential medication management or family support needs. Each client will have a case manager to monitor their progress throughout treatment.

Typical Monday–Friday Full-Day Treatment Schedule

Participants of Full-Day Outpatient Treatment are encouraged to commit to five days a week to start. In the table below, you can see what a typical day of outpatient treatment might look like. However, this may change based on the unique needs of each client. Lunch is provided every day.

We understand that each individual has obligations and responsibilities that can make a commitment like this challenging. We work with each client to customize the program to fit their needs. The Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program is carefully designed to treat mental health conditions, delivering personalized guidance and intensive support for long-term recovery.

Clinical Services in Tewksbury & South Portland

Pillars Health Group’s clinical services include medication management and mental health support. We also have a certified nurse practitioner available to assist clients as needed.

Medication Management and Mental Health Support

For clients who could benefit from medication to help manage their mental health conditions, we offer focused medication management support. If medication is part of the treatment plan and cannot be prescribed in-house, our team will collaborate with the client’s existing prescribing physician to ensure continuity of care. This coordinated approach helps maintain consistent, uninterrupted support throughout the recovery process.

Through clinical services, individual therapy, group therapy, and peer support, individuals can heal and build a pathway toward a better life.

After Full-Day Outpatient Treatment in Middlesex & Cumberland County

After completing the Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program, individuals are encouraged to participate in either our Half-Day Program or our Aftercare Planning.

Aftercare Planning is intended to help participants stay sharp and continue their progress after treatment. It’s also an opportunity to work through any issues they may encounter while assuming a greater level of independence.

Pillars Health Group also offers Alumni Programs, giving clients access to peer support, sober events, and more. Our Alumni Programs and Aftercare Planning both help reinforce the skills learned during treatment.
