Our compassionate, and evidence-based therapeutic approach to treatment can help your child overcome their struggles and establish real control of their life.

By way of three distinct outpatient treatment programs, we address a variety of difficulties that today’s youth face, including anxiety, depression, disordered eating behaviors, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body and gender issues, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and more.

We offer highly personalized treatment, peer support, proven therapies, and community resources for teens and their families. At Pillars, mindful enrichment and emotional well-being are well within reach. We’re here to guide you and your teen every step of the way.

First Things First: A Comprehensive Assessment

Upon admission, a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment will identify the underlying mental health issues that are driving undesirable behaviors your teen may be exhibiting. This assessment considers the social, biological, and psychological environments in which the youth develops. Based on this comprehensive assessment, our Masters-level clinicians will determine the appropriate level of care while they craft a highly individualized treatment plan for your teen. What’s more, to ensure sure that your family has a plan in place for when your child completes outpatient treatment, our team will introduce you to resources outside of Pillars available to you.

Half-Day and Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Programs

Both our Half-Day and Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Programs are designed to provide robust support for teens. The programs are highly structured, but can be customized to meet your family’s unique needs and schedule. Through teen therapy and skills development, these programs will help your teen regulate emotions, communication better, and learn and practice coping skills.

Full-Day Teen Treatment Program

Our Full-Day Outpatient Treatment Program for teens offers care and supervision throughout the day. Typically it’s recommended that a teen in full-day treatment commit to five-days-a-week of care. This schedule includes academic support. However, teens not currently enrolled in school may use the time allocated for academics for the practice of mindfulness and personal enrichment. We can work with you and your child to develop a schedule that best works for your family.

Half-Day Teen Treatment Program

Our Half-Day Teen Outpatient Treatment Program is for families who wish to have their child remain enrolled full-time in school and work out a temporary school schedule while their child is in treatment. Half-Day treatment provides support and guidance for a shorter portion of the day, allowing your teen to practice their newly-acquired skills in a real-world setting after school. We offer two scheduling options as follows:

Academic Support

Ensuring Academic Continuity

One of the first questions parents ask is “What about my child’s school work?” Glad you asked. We understand that falling behind in school while in treatment can trigger a whole host of other mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, shame, and low self-esteem That’s why a core part of our teen outpatient programs revolves around our state-certified teacher interfacing with your teen’s school. She will gather coursework and homework so that your teen maintains academic continuity and keeps pace with their classmates while in treatment.

Evidence-Based Clinical Services

At Pillars Health Group, our clinical services are the cornerstone of our comprehensive care. Our expert clinical team uses evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities to find the root causes of the mental health challenges your child may be facing. Through individual and peer-centered therapies, we’ll empower your child to lead a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Our clinical services include a range of therapeutic approaches, including, but not limited to: medication management (when prescribed), comprehensive case management, and a variety of outpatient therapies.

Apart from clinical work, your teen will also participate in what we call “mindful movement”, physical exercise that helps the body heal along with the mind.
