Answering the Important Questions First

Starting the Treatment Process at Our Adolescent Facility

When your teen begins treatment, we take the time to truly get to know them through a comprehensive assessment that looks at the emotional, social, psychological, and environmental factors impacting their mental health and well-being.

This helps our clinical team create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique needs and goals. We also work closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process, offering guidance, support, and connections to helpful resources that can continue benefiting your family long after treatment ends.

Personalized Treatment Programs for Teens

Every teen’s needs are different, which is why we offer multiple levels of care designed to provide the right balance of structure, support, and flexibility. Explore the options below to learn more about our Teen Full-Day and Half-Day Treatment Programs and how we tailor each experience to fit your child’s unique needs.

Teen Full-Day Treatment (PHP)

If the Teen Full-Day Treatment Program feels like the right fit for your child, we typically recommend starting with five days per week so they can fully engage in treatment, build structure, and develop healthy routines early on. While sample schedules are available below, every treatment plan is flexible and customized to fit your teen’s individual needs, goals, and daily responsibilities—including adjustments for academic support if needed. Along with their daily programming, your teen will receive individual therapy, case management, and additional support services, while parents and guardians stay informed through regular progress updates, schedule communication, and guidance on supporting continued growth at home.

While the sample schedule below offers a general outline, every treatment plan is flexible and tailored to your teen’s unique goals, needs, and availability. In addition to daily programming, your teen will receive individual therapy, case management, and additional support as needed, while parents and guardians receive regular progress updates, schedule communication, and guidance on supporting continued growth at home.

Ensuring Academic Continuity For Your Child

One of the most common concerns parents have when considering treatment is, “What will happen to my child’s schoolwork?” It’s an important question, and one we take seriously.

We understand that falling behind academically can add even more stress, anxiety, and frustration during an already difficult time, which is why educational support is built into our teen outpatient programs.

Our state-certified teacher works directly with your teen’s school to coordinate assignments, gather coursework, and help maintain academic continuity throughout treatment. By staying connected with teachers and school staff, we’re able to support your teen both emotionally and academically—helping them stay on track with their classmates while focusing on their mental health and overall well-being.

Evidence-Based Clinical Services

At Pillars Health Group, our clinical services are designed to help teens better understand and overcome the underlying causes of the mental health challenges they may be facing.

Through evidence-based therapies, individual counseling, peer support, medication management when appropriate, and comprehensive case management, we create personalized treatment experiences that support lasting growth and healing.

Teens also participate in “mindful movement,” a wellness-focused form of physical activity that promotes both emotional and physical well-being as part of the recovery process.
